What a difference a week makes
I took the camera to the bottom of the garden yesterday to see what I could get in the golden hour as the sun was setting. I took a wide angle shot of the bench in my neighbours garden about a week ago (see below) and the trees in the background still had a green colour to them. Yesterday when I composed the same shot, the obvious difference was that the colour of the leaves have turned from green to bronze in the space of a week, especially with the light from the setting sun on them. So rather than shooting the same shot with different colours, I swapped to my 70-300mm f/5.6 and zoomed in on the leaves and tree trunks of the wood beyond my neighbours garden. I took a bunch of different shots at different focal lengths, but this more tightly cropped example is my favourite.
