Starlink Satellites over my front garden

I read about the Starlink project in the news at the weekend, which is using Elon Musk’s SpaceX rockets to launch large numbers of communication satellites into orbit in order to provide satellite internet access. The reason it’s in the news is that some of the streams of satellites have been crossing the UK and are visible at night at specific times. So last night I took the camera and tripod and went into the front garden to see if I could see them with the naked eye and also if I could capture them in camera. The satellites arrived overhead at exactly the published time I’d found on the web. There was then a constant stream of them for a period of around 20 minutes, one after the next, with most following what appeared to be exactly the same track, with one or two being offset a little. The picture above shows 4 satellite trails: 3 in a row (the last in the bottom right hand corner is a little faint), and a parallel track satellite alongside the 1st of the 3.
