Aerial Photography

I had a surprise Christmas present this year which has been thoroughly entertaining over the last couple of weeks. I've followed the development of consumer drones over the last few years and teetered on the edge of splashing out on one a few times but the technology is updating and evolving so fast I've never jumped in. Additionally, some of the technology is eye-wateringly expensive and without being talented at operating a drone, they can prove very expensive to crash ! Here's a quick video from last week. Although at ground level the wind was fairly still, once above the tree line the air was moving a little faster and you can see how the control inputs became a little more extreme in order to keep the drone in the same place. More to come as I hopefully get more adept at operating it !
