Radnage School Fete
Saturday was Radnage School Fete (near High Wycombe) and we always try to support the local events if we can so we took the kids along. Surprisingly my eldest daughter has yet to have her face painted and we'd floated the idea over breakfast to which she'd suggested she'd have a purple butterfly if she got the chance. The fete is always very well organised and this year was no exception with plenty of things to keep the kids (and the adults) entertained. Having proven herself a sharp shooter at archery and knocking tennis balls off bottles with a water jet, our eldest was keen to get her butterfly done. It seemed fitting to record the occasion for posterity when we got home and she was keen to pose for the camera (if not to pose exactly how I'd have liked - this was the only shot where her tongue wasn't poking out). This may have been the first time, but I doubt it will be the last. Oh and Nana wants a framed copy too..........
