New Glass

In preparation to moving to a full frame camera when the next Nikon is released, I've started upgrading my lens to FX format glass. I use my 50mm a lot and that's already an FX format lens and I wanted something similar, especially as sharp, that was a wide angle zoom. My current wide angle zoom is a 18-70mm so I was looking for a direct replacement and Nikon do a nice 24-70mm FX lens that also has a constant max aperture of f2.8. The new lens arrived this morning so it went straight on the camera for some test shots with my daughter. The build quality is awesome and the speed of focus exceptional and I'm very pleased with the early results. I'll post a few up here as examples:
